Norman was the Education Worker at Half Moon Young People’s Theatre from 1985 to 1989, later becoming the Chair of the Committee in 1990. When Norman left Half Moon, he was presented with a painting by Dan Jones depicting people and performances from his years at Half Moon. Norman has donated that to the Stages of Half Moon exhibition which is in situ in Half Moon on White Horse Road.
