Landscape of Exile was set in London after the death of Karl Marx and presented a graphic account of the European emigres and their effect on the growth of working class movements in Britain in the late 1880s.

Theatre designer Iona McLeish worked on many productions at Half Moon Theatre at Alie Street and on the Mile End Road. She talks about designing Landscape of Exiles and her decision to use projection, which was mainly monochrome and then was suddenly injected with bursts of colour. Interviewed by Toni Tsaera.
