Greek was a rags-to-riches story filled with sarcasm and scatological humor as only the ‘Bad Boy of British Theatre’ Berkoff could dish out. Eddy voyaged beyond his East End home to encounter love, wealth, and his true identity. This modern, twisted version of the myth combined Shakespearean grandeur with Cockney slang to riotous effect. This punk ‘love poem’ to the spirit of Oedipus Rex contained adult language and scenes of a sexual nature.
