Tatenda has been working with Half Moon since the 2021 artform development programme Narratives of Empathy and Resilience. They have written two plays for Half Moon: Hot Orange (2023) and Brave Bettie (2026).
Tatenda became a finalist for Best Writing in the 2024 Off West End Theatre Awards for Young Audiences for Hot Orange.
In February 2026 Tatenda was nominated for the Best Fringe Theatre Best Writing Award for Theatre for Young Audiences, for Brave Bettie.
